Academic & Social Links

Dr. Engr. Naik Muhammad Babar is a highly accomplished civil and structural engineer, academician, and consultant with extensive experience in infrastructure development, building codes, and disaster risk reduction. He is the Founder and Principal Consultant of DNM Engineering Consultants, where he leads innovative, sustainable, and client-focused solutions for structural design, assessment, and infrastructure projects. He is an active Member of the Engineering Curriculum Review and Development Committee (ECRDC), Civil Domain, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He is a Member of the Planning Commission of Pakistan on Bridges and Infrastructures. Dr. Babar developed the "Balochistan Building Control and Town Planning Rules 2021". He also serves as a Member of the Green Building Code of Pakistan, reflecting his commitment to sustainable and resilient infrastructure. Dr. Babar has published many research papers in structural engineering and allied research areas.
