Digital education and training are key to improving the employability and social integration of vulnerable groups, including Afghan refugees in Pakistan, who face significant barriers to legal employment and dignified living. This study used a sequential mixed-methods design, combining a survey of 243 Afghan refugees with semi-structured interviews of 10 participants, to examine how digital education can enhance their livelihoods. The findings indicate that digital skills are widely viewed as essential for securing employment in today's global economy. Participants expressed strong support for six-month to one-year digital training programs that could improve access to financial and educational opportunities. However, limited financial resources and inadequate infrastructure, such as insufficient computer labs and internet access, remain major obstacles.
