Dr. Farooq Hussain has been serving BUITEMS since 2008. He earned his PhD in 2019 from the International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad, with distinction under Pakistan’s prestigious Indigenous PhD Fellowship Program. His primary research area is multiphase flows, with notable contributions to peristalsis, viscous flows, heat and mass transfer, and nanofluid dynamics. He is among the few researchers in Pakistan to have successfully simulated cavitating and bubble dynamics, earning international recognition. Dr. Hussain has established research collaborations with scholars from the USA, UK, France, China, Saudi Arabia, India, and Vietnam. He was the first mathematician from BUITEMS to publish a full-length article in the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (Netherlands). He served as Chairperson of the Department of Mathematical Sciences (2024–2026), led major curriculum reforms, and actively serves as a reviewer for HEC Pakistan and leading international journals.
