Academic & Social Links

Farooq Hussain is an emerging mathematician from Baluchistan who is ranked in the renowned “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list by Stanford/Elsevier. He holds a PhD degree in Multiphase Flows from International Islamic University, Islamabad with distinction under Pakistan’s most prestigious “Indigenous PhD-Fellowship Program”. His notable research contributions to peristalsis, viscous flows, heat & mass transfer, and nanofluid dynamics have gained recognition in well-known international journals of the world. Besides, he is among a few researchers in Pakistan to have explored “Cavitating & Bubble” dynamics. Dr. Hussain has established research collaborations with prominent scholars from the USA, UK, France, China and Saudi Arabia. He served as Chairperson of the Department of Mathematical Sciences (2024–2026), led major curriculum reforms and lauched the inagural PhD-mathematics program at BUITEMS. Finaly, he also serves as a reviewer for HEC Pakistan and leading international journals.
