Dr. Bashir Ahmed has been working with different organizations since 2003. Currently he is working with BUITMES as Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Sociology. Dr. Bashir Ahmed has multi-Sectoral exposure. He has been working with Privates, Public and Development sectors organizations in the thematic domain of Community Development, Social protection, Livelihood development, Education, Public Health and Community Volunteerism. As an academician along with teaching he is Mentoring students and advising on career paths, degree requirements and post-graduate education options. He is contributing in curricular development, innovation in teaching strategies and social enterprise development. He has completed five research projects in different thematic areas and he has published more than 17 research papers in different National and International Journals.
