Dr. Akram Ali , PhD, is a Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology at BUITEMS, Quetta. His research expertise spans genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, and evolutionary biology, with a particular focus on genome-wide analysis, gene family evolution, and the genetic basis of stress tolerance in crops. He has published extensively in high-impact international journals, contributing significant insights into plant genomics, evolutionary studies, and human genetic variation. Dr. Ali has presented his research at leading international conferences and undertaken advanced professional training to enhance both his teaching and research practices. Since joining BUITEMS in 2016, he has combined active research with mentorship, supervising students' theses and guiding young scientists. Through his scholarly contributions, he continues to advance biotechnology knowledge and address critical challenges in agriculture and health.
