Dr. Mehreen Faiza has been serving in the Department of Sociology at BUITEMS since 2018. She holds a PhD degree of Sociology from the University of Peshawar and has demonstrated strong academic and administrative leadership by serving as the department’s focal person for three years and as Chairperson of the Department of Sociology. She specializes in Sociology of Gender, Criminology, women’s empowerment, ICT and psychological and social issues. Known for her professionalism, dedication, and effective teaching, she has taught courses including Introduction to Sociology, Environmental Psychology, Community Development, and Gender Studies. Beyond her teaching and administrative responsibilities, she remains dedicated to promoting academic excellence, mentoring students and participating in professional development activities. Her work reflects a strong commitment to advancing sociological knowledge and addressing key societal challenges through education and research.
