Mr. Shabir Ahmed is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BUITEMS, Quetta, where he has served since July 2021. He teaches Fluid Mechanics I & II, Renewable Energy Systems, Internal Combustion Engines, and Applied Thermodynamics. He also contributes as a member of the Departmental Quality Education Committee (DQEC), Departmental Examination Committee (DEC), and Batch Coordinator. He holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Renewable Energy Systems from NED University, Karachi, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from BUET Khuzdar. His research interests include renewable energy systems, combustion engineering, thermal and energy engineering, and fluid mechanics. Prior to BUITEMS, he worked as Project Manager at Gulf Engineering Company and trained at the Thermal Power Station, Muzaffargarh. He is a Registered Engineer with PEC and an active member of the Young Engineers Association (YEA).
