Dr. Maqsood Ahmad is an accomplished Assistant Professor at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta, Pakistan. With a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from GC University, Lahore, he specializes in industrial and ambient air monitoring, wastewater treatment, and bioremediation. His expertise includes advanced techniques like isokinetic stack sampling, Flue gas and High-Volume Sampler for particulate matter analysis. Dr. Ahmad brings six years of experience as Deputy Director of Laboratories at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Punjab, where he oversaw critical environmental monitoring programs, including industrial emissions testing and air quality assessments, and over six years in academia, Dr. Ahmad has led impactful research projects on antibiotic-resistant bacteria and pollution (PM) mitigation. He has supervised one PhD and numerous MS and BS research theses and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals
