Academic & Social Links

Yasmin Achakzai is an academic and researcher with expertise in English language and literature. She served at the University of Loralai from May 31, 2021, to September 2024, and is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of English at BUITEMS, Quetta, since October 2024. She teaches and mentors undergraduate students. She holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Balochistan (2017) and an MPhil in English Language and Literature (2022). Her specialization lies in the evolution of English literature, particularly female authors. Her research focuses on second language acquisition and error analysis, especially syntactic errors among EFL learners translating Urdu texts into English. Her teaching portfolio includes courses in literature and linguistics such as Literary Studies, Drama, Poetry, Fiction, Novels, Morphology, Stylistics, Applied Linguistics, Functional English, Academic Reading & Writing, and Communication and Presentation Skills.
