Academic & Social Links

I am Gohram Malghani Associate Professor in the department of environmental sciences, FLS&I BUITEMS. My PhD is related to flood disaster management, and I have developed some understanding on how disasters like floods relate with climate change and how anthropogenic change in environment can lead flood disasters. I have also some understandings about the phenomenon; hazard and how vulnerability can be reduced, and which Mitigation adaptation procedures help in disaster management. In connection with my previous MS degree in Environmental management and Policy, I also learned some understanding of social factors in environmental sciences especially factors of vulnerability relation with demographic, socio-economic, cultural, political and physical factors in natural disasters. Moreover, my first master’s in chemistry I have some understanding of toxic chemicals, environmental pollution, sources, types and causes.
