Dr. Muhammad Raheel, working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Basic Sciences (FBS) at BUITEMS, Quetta, since August 2016. He earned his Master’s degree in Chemistry from Hazara University Mansehra. He completed his MPhil and PhD degrees from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He visited Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences for one year as CAS-TWAS Postgraduate fellow, during his PhD research work. His research areas are Polymer Nanocomposites, Polymer Carbonization/ Flame Retardancy of Polymers, Polymeric Foams, Surfactant Drug Interactions, Photocatalysis and Metal Heterojunctions. Dr. Raheel has published 30 peer-reviewed research articles in reputed international journals.
