Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Ali is currently serving as Lecturer, Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of ICT at BUITEMS Quetta. With more than 12 years in academia, Dr. Shoaib has been actively involved in both teaching and research. Alongside his academic responsibilities, he also holds the position of Coordinator for Graduate Studies and Final Year Projects in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He has been recognized as a Senior IEEE Member. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, where he was associated with the Medical Imaging Laboratory. His research focuses on AI, deep learning, and signal processing. His doctoral research involved developing deep learning approaches for medical imaging applications, and his ongoing work extends these methods to broader domains, including image and speech processing. He currently supervises Ph.D. and master’s students, fostering innovation and applied research across multiple areas.
