I possess a background in materials science (applied physics) with my PhD focused on proton conducting electrolyte materials - promising candidates for the potential commercialization of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). During my PhD research work at the University of St Andrews, UK, under the supervision of Prof. John T.S. Irvine and Prof. Peter Hing at the University Brunei Darussalam, I addressed the issues of chemical stability and poor sinterability in proton conducting electrolyte materials for SOFCs. Currently I am interested in next-generation eco-friendly Organic Sodium-ion batteries and materials simulation.
