As technology grows quickly and electronics reach to the end of their life span faster, there is an urgent need for end-of-life management options (also known as e-waste management). There is no definition, specifically for e-waste in Quetta city for domestic regulation.

Higher concentration of lead in the environment deserves special attention due to their worst impact on health and human longevity. The occurrence of Lead in blood causes high blood pressure, ear, nose and throat related illness, fatigue, gastrointestinal diseases and cancer among people.

Using Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provides a powerful, spatially-based approach to managing groundwater resources. For a region like Quetta, which faces serious issues of water scarcity and declining groundwater levels, these technologies are particularly valuable for understanding the various factors affecting its water supply
