Dr. Kaleem U. Kakar is an Associate Professor at BUITEMS and a PhD/PostDoc graduate of Zhejiang University, a world-top-ranked institution. His international prominence was solidified through his role as the sole International Foreign Expert Scientist at China Tobacco, Guiyang, where he led large-scale, multidisciplinary projects in Tobacco genetics. He is a Certified Biosafety Professional credentialed by IFBA and member of the Balochistan Govt (Ministry of health) Special Committee for Lab Revamping Project. With over a decade of post-PhD experience, he leads high-impact research in sustainable agriculture, applied microbiology, Genomics, food security and public health, securing grants from NIH, WHO, and the Gates Foundation. Dr. Kakar is a prolific author of numerous Q1 research articles, book/chapters and actively engages in community development and capacity building across Pakistan.
