Erum Shafi teaches and studies behavior. She is a behavioral/social researcher pursuing her PhD at the University of Malaya and has developed a thesis on employers hijacking women employees' voices in strategic decision-making (https://ejournal.um.edu.my/index.php/ijie/article/view/51140/16848). To achieve this, she used Kathy Charmaz's Grounded theory to obtain practical experience in several sectors. Ms. Erum Shafi is an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Balochistan University of IT, Engineering, and Management Sciences Quetta. The University of Malaya's Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Economics and Administration in Kuala Lumpur awarded her a PhD in Development Economics. In Pakistan, Bahauddin Zakariya University awarded her an honors Master of Philosophy in Economics. Her graduate and postgraduate students have studied economics themes for 20 years.
