For over fifteen years, my scholarly work has been centered on the chemical dialogue between biological organisms and their environment, with a focus on isolating and characterizing novel secondary metabolites with therapeutic potential. This research is intrinsically linked to my commitment to education; I am driven to translate the complexities of chemical structures and biosynthetic pathways into compelling learning experiences. By framing natural product chemistry as a bridge between traditional wisdom and contemporary drug discovery, I cultivate an academic environment that prepares students to become critical thinkers and contributors to global health challenges.
