Farhat Farooqi is an academic, researcher, and administrator with extensive experience in English Language, Literature, and higher education management. She is currently serving as Chairperson, Department of English at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta, where she has been teaching and mentoring students since 2012. She holds an MPhil in English Language and Literature from Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (2019) and specializes in postcolonial studies, feminist theory, discourse analysis, and critical pedagogy. Her teaching portfolio includes English Literature, English as a Second Language (ESL), English as a First Language (O Levels), and Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). Alongside teaching, Farooqi has served in significant leadership roles. She worked as Deputy Director of Quality Enhancement (2020–2023), overseeing academic standards and institutional development.
