Sohail Anwar is an academician and administrator with over a decade of experience in teaching, research, field work and public service. Currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at BUITEMS since 2012, he has also held significant roles in government institutions. Notably, Anwar served as Divisional Director Makran for the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) for two years, overseeing program implementation and development initiatives. Prior to this, he spent three years as Deputy Director Operations at BISP, where he managed operational and field aspects and contributed to policy development. Anwar's teaching experience dates back to 2010, when he served as a teacher in the Education Department of Balochistan for two years. He holds an MPhil degree from the University of Karachi and has research interests in political thought, ethnic conflicts, conflict resolution, foreign policy and climate change.
