Academic & Social Links

Dr. Ali Nawaz Mengal earned his Mechanical Engineering (Alternative Energy) doctorate from Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia. He also holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering Design from NED UET Karachi, and a B.E. from UET Taxila, Pakistan. With over 21 years of experience, he serves as Professor of Mechanical Engineering at BUITEMS, Quetta, previously Dean of Engineering and department chair. In 2019, he became founding Vice Chancellor of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi, overseeing its academic and administrative establishment. As Principal Investigator, he led high-impact research projects in composites and renewable energy, secured worldwide recognition through 40+ peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter. His global engagement spans faculty development programs in the USA and Malaysia, national and international conference presentations, academic–industry MoUs, thesis evaluations, program accreditation and frequent journal peer reviewing.
