Dr. Fahim Ahmed Ibupoto is an academic and researcher with expertise in Mining and Mechanical Engineering. He earned his B.S. in Mining Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan, and completed his unified M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta. With over a decade of teaching and research experience, his work focuses on mechanics, rock mechanics, creep and fatigue behavior, coatings, graphene, mining systems, biofuels, renewable energy, and energy policy. Committed to advancing sustainable technologies, he strives to link engineering innovation with real-world energy and mining solutions.
