My research interests lie in the field of molecular genetics, with a primary focus on the application of advanced genomic technologies to uncover the genetic basis of human diseases. My work primarily involves whole exome sequencing (WES), variant analysis, and genetic data interpretation, with the goal of identifying novel high-risk pathogenic variants associated with inherited disorders. I have contributed to impactful research on the genetic basis of epilepsy, cancer, obesity, intellectual disability, and other neurological disorders in the Pakistani population. Additionally, I possess hands-on expertise in core molecular biology techniques, including DNA extraction, primer design, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), gel electrophoresis, and Quant-iT PicoGreen assays, as well as various others.
