Anqa Gharshin is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at BUITEMS, where she has led the Community Work course for over four years, connecting students with schools, orphanages, jails, refugee programs, and mental health institutions across Balochistan. With more than eight years of counselling experience, she has served voluntarily as a counsellor under the Faculty Student Advisory within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her initiatives include teacher training in helping skills, community-based mental health awareness, and advocacy for workplace mental health policies. She has also provided career counselling and psychosocial support to Afghan refugee students through her collaboration with ICRMS. A Turkish Government Scholarship alumna, she maintains international academic linkages and aims to strengthen counselling psychology education and establish a multidisciplinary mental health institute in Quetta to expand access to care and professional opportunities.
