Dr. Muhammad Qasim Siddiqui is an accomplished textile engineer, researcher, and academic leader with over 20 years of experience in spinning, natural fiber science, and sustainable textile innovation. His research focuses on natural fiber spinning and composite development, supported by 24+ publications, book chapters, and two patents. He has received multiple prestigious recognitions, including the DNFI Award (Germany), UNDP SDG Award, Prime Minister’s Innovation Award (Pakistan), ITC–GRASP Award, and the CSC China Excellence Award for academic and industrial innovation. He is the Founder of Natural Fiber Company, a pioneering green startup transforming agricultural waste into high-value sustainable products. Actively engaged in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, he serves as a mentor at NIC Quetta, guiding young founders in product development, sustainability, and business strategy. Dr. Siddiqui currently serves as Professor & Chairman, Department of Textile Eng. & Design.
