Academic & Social Links

Dr. Nida Tabassum khan is a Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology and Informatics in BUITEMS. She has participated in numerous national and international symposiums/seminars/scientific workshops/webinars/conferences and she has been also serving as a potential research reviewer and editor for numerous international journals. She has been a pioneer in establishing and advocating the emerging field of Myconanotechnology at BUITEMS and has successfully synthesized biogenic metal nanoparticles such as copper, silver, titanium etc from different fungal species accompanied by synthesis reaction optimization. Her research background has been focused on different areas in the field of Nanobiotechnology, Fungal biotechnology, fabrication of novel nanomaterials and nanosafety. In addition, her ongoing projects focused mainly on Insilico modeling, Bioinformatics/Nanoinformatics, Toxicological studies for hazard assessment, Clinical pathology, EIA and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
