  • Protective Textiles
My research focuses on sustainable material technologies for textiles, environmental sensing, and functional composites. Qualitative and quantitative analyses of textile-related risk concentrations are conducted using biosensing methods, including single-cell algae assays and bio-sensor platforms, supported by GC-MS for precise detection. Protective textiles are engineered with high-performance functional materials, while infrared camouflage systems are developed through non-woven technologies utilizing locally sourced wool. Filtration efficiency is enhanced with natural fibers, and significant progress has been achieved in upcycling wool for alternative roofing applications. Innovation is also pursued in smart wearables, where piezoelectric sensors are integrated to enable green energy harvesting and conservation.
