Dr. Furhaj Ahmed Sheikh is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta, Pakistan, since 2019. He earned his M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Balochistan (UOB), Quetta, where he secured second position. He completed his M.S. in Physics at BUITEMS in 2018, followed by a Ph.D. in Physics from the same university in 2025, specializing in the field of Materials Science. He has over 10 years of teaching experience and is an active researcher in the areas of materials science and nanotechnology. His research interests include magnetic materials, materials science, nanotechnology, spinel ferrites, and the magnetic and dielectric properties of ferrites.
