My journey in academia is driven by a core belief: teaching is not just a profession, but a passion. For nearly ten years at BUITEMS, I have dedicated myself to fostering critical inquiry and intellectual growth in my students. This commitment to deeper understanding directly fuels my research, which seeks to unravel the complex and often subtle ways that communication shapes our political landscape. My primary research centers on political communication, which I explore through a rich, interdisciplinary lens. I operate from the premise that political messages are rarely just words on a page; they are intricate constructions of meaning. To understand them fully, I draw heavily from multimodal communication and social semiotics, investigating how text, images, soundscapes, and digital design work in concert to build powerful narratives. This approach is further enriched by multimodal anthropology, allowing me to situate these communicative acts within their specific cultural contexts.
