Hammal Khan is a Turbat based, visual artist, who plays with various forms and mediums of art, such as; Painting, Video, Calligraphy, Graphic design, Photography and Writing. He had his basic education from the city of Turbat (Kech) Balochistan, and then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore, Pakistan in 2011. He has displayed his miniature paintings, calligraphy and mixed media works in various national and international art exhibitions. Hammal’s areas of interests shifted from painting to digital and Cinematic art through time. his documentary film SAWAAL was acclaimed and awarded at national level and also got screened at CINEMADAMARE International film festival, Italy and Alphavirama South Asian Film Festival, India. His Video Art Installations were shown in international exhibition ISLAM CONTEMPORARY at Rosenthal Art Gallery, North Carolina, USA (2014), and Delhi International Film Festival (DIFF), Delhi, India (2012).
