Dr. Agha Muhammad Raza is Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Life Sciences & Informatics, BUITEMS. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bolan Medical College, Quetta. He did Masters in Health Profession Education – MHPE, from Aga Khan University, Karachi. He also holds a Ph.D. degree in human dental genetics from the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Life Sciences, BUITEMS. His fields of interest are medical education, research in medical and dental sciences, dental genetic diseases and immunology. Dr. Agha served as demonstrator/dental surgeon for more than eight years in Bolan Medical College and Civil Hospital, Quetta (2000 -2008). He joined BUITEMS as Assistant Professor of Microbiology in 2008. Currently he is serving as Professor in Department of Microbiology, BUITEMS. He has published 21 research papers in National and International journals. He was awarded the best teacher award in 2010 and best faculty award in 2018.
