From Storytelling to Public Service: Zakia Taqi Joins the Civil Services

A graduate of BUITEMS' MBA (Banking & Finance) Class of 2020, Ms. Zakia Taqi transitioned from a creative writer to a Central Superior Services (CSS) officer. She cleared the CSS Examination 2023 and was allocated to the Information Group. Her journey reflects a deep commitment to national service and advocacy, inspired by BUITEMS’ emphasis on critical thinking, leadership, and intellectual empowerment.

Syed Razi Hurraira: From BUITEMS Chemistry Lab to National Policy

A graduate of the Department of Chemistry, Syed Razi Hurraira cleared both the PCS 2023 and CSS 2023 exams in his first attempt. He is currently serving as an Assistant Commissioner and has been allocated to the Commerce and Trade Group (53rd CTP) of the CSS. His journey also includes service as a Police Inspector in Balochistan, showcasing a passion for public leadership and resilience.

Masooma Razzaq: A BUITEMS Scholar at the Frontier of Global Nanomedicine

Ms. Masooma Razzaq, a brilliant graduate from the Department of Chemistry, took her academic passion beyond borders. After completing her BS from BUITEMS, she was selected for a Master’s in Nanosciences and Engineering at NUST. Her academic journey reached new heights when she was awarded the prestigious Erasmus+ Mobility Scholarship for an international research exchange at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Norway. At NTNU, under the supervision of Dr. Sulalit Bandyopadhyay, she is conducting cutting-edge research on nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems, contributing to advanced global health solutions.
